About
I learned how to perform before I learned how to connect.
I became good at talking, entertaining and keeping conversations moving. Those skills were useful, but I eventually realized I was spending much of my attention managing how I appeared.
The most valuable relationships in my life and work were not built because I was the most impressive person in the room. They developed because I noticed something, asked a better question, listened carefully or followed through on a detail that mattered.
I created the OBSERVE Method to give thoughtful professionals a more practical way to participate.
You do not need another person telling you to be more outgoing. You need a method that works with the way you already pay attention.
